Introduction
Renewing the Christian mind with the Word of God
The
renewed mind series will provide a diversity of bible topics and verses that
pertain to various areas of a believer's life for continued growth in the
knowledge of Christ and our Christian walk with God. Please note that this
project continues to be a work in progress, and it is my sincere intention to

2Ti 2:20-21 "But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of
silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to
dishonor. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel
unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto
every good work."
It is my hope,
that all aspects of this website will become a place of encouragement to
all who visit. As Christians, let us band together wherever we may
be, and fight the good fight of faith, love and power, against all the
works of darkness, and not only set ourselves free with the Truth of
God, but set others free as well.
Isa 58:5 "Is it such a fast that I have
chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head
as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou
call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?"
Isa 58:6 "Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands
of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go
free, and that ye break every yoke?"
God's Promises to Those Who Do
Isa 58:14 Then shalt thou delight
thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places
of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for
the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Psa 37:4 Delight thyself also in the
LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Bible Verses On Renewed Mind
The Apostle Paul wrote,
Eph 4:21-32: If so be that ye have heard him,
and have been taught
by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former
conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful
lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the
new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour:
for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the
sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him
that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his
hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that
needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but
that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace
unto the hearers. And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are
sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and
anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all
malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one
another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Col 3:10-11 "And have put on the new man,
which is renewed in knowledge after the
image of him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew,
circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but
Christ is all, and in all."
Gal 5:16
"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust
of the flesh."
Gal 5:25 "If
we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."
Rom 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by
the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
2Pe 1:4 "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great
and precious promises: that by
these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the
corruption that is in the world through lust."
2Co 3:18 "But we all, with unveiled face beholding
as in a mirror the glory of the
Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as
from the Lord the Spirit."
